Oceanview Publishing is an independent book publisher founded in 2006 specializing in the best in mystery, thriller, and suspense. We publish books in print, digital, and audio and distribute our titles through Independent Publishers Group (IPG), the largest book sales and distribution company in the country, to get our titles the widest possible distribution in all formats.

Lee Randall
Lee Randall, a native of Asheville, NC, has called Sarasota, FL home since 2004. He has a business degree from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, and manages the finance, production, and acquisitions activities at Oceanview. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling to new places, and of course reading a good mystery/thriller!
Robert Rogers
In his role as Director of Marketing for Oceanview, Robert feels he has come full circle. His first foray into the publishing world began in Sao Paulo, Brasil in 1990 working as an assistant editor and audiobook narrator with Editora Atica. The stage was set when he was given a copy of Agatha Christie’s The Sittaford Mystery at the age of ten. He has been a devout mystery/thriller fan ever since and possesses a true passion for supporting literary talent within the genre.
Founders
Bob Gussin
Bob never let his Ph.D. and position as the Chief Scientific Officer of Johnson and Johnson stand in the way of his passion for fiction—specifically mysteries and thrillers and suspense. So as soon as he retired, he and his wife, Patricia Gussin, started Oceanview Publishing, where since 2006 they have been publishing exceptional authors in that genre. In 2018, the International Thriller Writers recognized Bob and Pat with the Thriller Legend Award.
Pat Gussin
Pat is a physician and medical researcher—turned fiction writer and editor and publisher. She’s a USA Today and New York Times best-selling author and with her husband, Bob, a recipient of the International Thriller Writers Thriller Legend Award. Her greatest pride is the discovery of a fantastic thriller/mystery/suspense writer.
